WebGuider Review
(excepts from) "Create Your Restaurant Web Site in One Hour"

At last!
An automated software application that lets restaurant operators
design and create their own Web sites without the expense or hassle
of using a Web page designer or trying to learn how to use a Web
publishing program. This application is so simple I created a Web
site for my restaurant in an hour. Now that’s exaggerating a bit
because it took another two or three hours to edit and make changes.
Still, I had an acceptable Web site done in less than four hours.
And I didn’t have to know how to create links or understand HTML,
(which, incidentally, stands for Hyper Text Markup Language.)
The
application is called WebGuider and was created by SoftCafe,
the authors of the popular menu creation program called MenuPro.
(SoftCafe) sent me a copy of the beta test
and I fell in love with it because it’s a snap to install and use.
All you have to do is enter your restaurant information, logo, and
store photo, if you desire, information about your restaurant, and
then pick one of the more than 40 pre-designed web page designs.
WebGuider then automatically creates and uploads your web site. It’s
that simple.
There are three ways to add (MenuPro) menus to your Web site. You
can use a text file, a PDF file, or an HTML menu file. The advantage
to using an external menu file rather than entering the menu
directly into WebGuider is that you will not need to duplicate your
menu changes in two different places. You simply rebuild your Web
site with WebGuider and the new menu information will be updated on
your Web site.
I’m giving this beta test copy a
big five star review.
It’s a great application and from what I know about SoftCafe, the
application will only get better. For pricing information on
WebGuider and other SoftCafe products contact Softcafe.
