What do I need to get started?
A computer with a connection to the
Internet (to upload your site), SoftCafe MenuPro 8.0 (to create your
menus) and a Website Hosting
service to host your site. There are many website Hosting companies that
will host your site for about $5/month (the site your viewing now is
hosted for $5.95 per month). Simply search for 'Website Hosting' using your
favorite search engine. You'll likely find some 'free' hosting services in
your search but we don't recommend them as they post Ads to other business
on your site.
Do you provide Website Hosting or Domain Names?
SoftCafe does not provide website hosting or
domain names, but there are many Website Hosting companies
that will host your site
for as little as $5/month and many will even register your domain name
(www.your-restaurant-name.com) for free. Simply search the web using
Google for 'Website Hosting' and sign up for the one that looks
the best. They all work with WebGuider.
How can I put my restaurant logo on my Website?
Have it scanned at Kinko's or any
print shop and they will give you a logo file that you can then use with WebGuider. If you
own a scanner you can do it yourself. Once you have the logo file adding it
to your site is as simple as selecting the file while in WebGuider.
Do I need to learn HTML?
No. WebGuider was
designed from the ground up to free you from the drudgery of
editing HTML and using complex web editing software.
Is WebGuider guaranteed?
Yes. If not 100%
satisfied, you can return it within
30 days for a full refund.
Do you offer support if I have a question after receiving my
software?
Yes, free support is available from SoftCafe support specialists for all
current versions of our software.
Will WebGuider work on a Mac?
Yes. With the introduction of Apple's Boot
Camp, you can now run Windows programs, including WebGuider, on a Mac. See
